Prepare the exam content
Build the exam from your question bank and check its sections, questions and marks. Read every shared passage with its related questions. Remove anything that depends on an online interaction that would not make sense on paper. A classroom paper needs to be understandable without a candidate clicking a control or opening a separate screen to read an instruction.
Choose the paper layout
Open the question-paper view and choose the print settings. Review the template, font size, student fields and exam instructions. Add the details students need, such as the paper title, duration and total marks. Check page breaks and margins before printing. If a diagram or question is split across pages, adjust the layout and preview it again rather than hoping it will fit on the printed page.
Generate alternate sets
Use the paper-set options to produce alternate versions. Question and answer shuffling can change their order, so keep each set with its matching answer key. Preview the sets you plan to distribute. Shared directions still need to stay with their dependent questions. Label the papers clearly so students and teachers can identify which set was used when checking answers.
Download and check a printed copy
Download the PDF sets or print the selected paper. Print one sample before producing the full batch, checking small text, images, writing space and page numbers. Keep answer keys separate from candidate papers and give staff clear distribution instructions. Pracxa generates the papers and keys; this workflow does not scan handwritten sheets or automatically mark paper responses. Plan how teachers will collect and mark the completed papers. Store the final PDFs so the team can refer to the exact papers used during the exam.
